Fulgurite tends to have an irregular shape, making measurements of dimensions somewhat arbitrary.
Instead, I have photographed them on a background with about a 3/4" square grid. Yellow label is 1.5 x 2" wide.
Horizontally, four pink blocks is about 3". For close-up detail of grain, see Series D photos.
Orange is lichen on the exterior surface. Please ask if you need more information on any item.

$305This IMMENSE fulgurite will be the new centerpiece of your collection.
It is so large that some might think it is a piece of petrified wood instead of "petrified lightning."
Measures about 15" long and 4-5" across the wider end.
Whole rocks are included in the matrix. Lichen on one face. Several open branch stubs. Good exposed glass and bubbles.

Here we have an exquisite very large sample (top photo and lower right photo) with two large branches (lower left photo) tht fit on the upper left branch in the top photo - you could glue them in place if you want.
The X-shaped main body measures 14" long x 10" wide x 4" thick. The two branches are 7" x 2", and 5" x 1".
The main body has every fulgurite feature you could hope for, including numerous embedded large rocks, many branch stubs, clean excellent glass and bubbles, and a VAST open black-glass bubble.
The two branches are excellent all on their own! The larger branch has the best open central tube we've ever seen - perfect!

$182Beautiful, impressive, classic – Wow!
Fulgurite of this size are very rare. Large specimens that also display so many great features are even more of a find! The outer surface is highlighted with colorful lichen and has a nice variety of embedded rocks including a monster rock that measures around 3” x 1.5”. One end has an impressively huge bubble lined with black and clear glass and surrounded by smaller bubbles. The other end is riddled with bubbles of all sizes in white, black and clear glasses. The overall shape has a slight curve and the biggest branch stub is in a prominent spot, halfway along the length and on the top surface in the orientation you are likely to use when displaying it. The glass in that branch stub has a slight greenish tinge. There is another smaller branch stub and a curious black glass hole in the shell that looks like a window into a lava tube cave.
