This appears to be a privately produced report for limited distribution, it is partly technical geological report and part travelogue. Part of it consists of neat copies from other sources, part is new writing. PERFECT for the geologist taking a trip to Iceland. Sections include Geology and Mineral Resources (geology, stratigraphy, tectonics, petrology, geothermal activity, mineral resources, precious metals), Economic background, Letter from Malmis, Investment in Iceland, Atlantal Aluminum Smelter project and more. $25

This is a very interesting paper dealing with lakes formed by glacier dams and the resulting floods and changes when the dam breaks. Specifically mentioned are Brimkjelen, Mjølkedalsvatn, Demmevatn, and others with historical changes. In English. $12
