Journal of the Paleontological
Society
This quarterly journal (1 volume/year : 4 issues/volume)
is published to emphasize general topics in the history of
life. Each issue measures about 10x7", 5-15 feature articles
and some shorter pieces like book reviews. The feature articles
have bibliographies and some illustrations including figures,
tables, and photos. Issue number 4 of each volume has an author
index for the volume. The topics
listed are just a sample of the contents of each issue and
are often abbreviated. There are numerous pieces by
Stephen J. Gould and reviews
of his books, more than I have listed below.
Published by the Paleonotological Society.
Condition:
The individual journals are in very good condition
with lightly rubbed covers and some lightly bumped corners.
Please ask if you want more a detailed description for any
given issue. I have mentioned any specific problems, if an,
in the individual listing. |
