(contents have minimal pencil marks, binder lightly rubbed). $36 Remaining recoverable coal of a part of the southern Appalachian field. by Reynold Q. Shotts. From Transactions, Society of Mining Engineers, AIME, 1962. Offprint. 9p. (slightly darkened cover). $1 Report on the Warrior Coal Basin, with fifty figures in text, seven plates and a map by Henry McCalley. This is the 1979 printing of the 1899 report. 9x6", 327p., illus., fold-outs, index. The map is large (folded). It is pure white on the back, but the front side is yellowed (darker at folds) - as the pattern doesn't really look like typically sun-darkening, it may have been an effect that was added on purpose when this 1898 map was reprinted. The map lines are blue, like on a blue print. (cover ilghtly soiled) $36
