Condition : Unless otherwise noted, these maps are in good to very good, lightly used condition, are folded, and are in a map pocket or envelope. They may have an owner's name, stamps, or filing-related words on the envelope and/or map margins. The envelopes may have light soil and bumped edges in addition to the owner's marks. Please ask if you need more information. |

The “GM map series” (Geologic Map Series) at 1:250,000 scale is the premier geologic map series of the SGS. The maps are 1 degree by 1.5 degree quadrangles, and conform to the 1:250,000-scale topographic map boundaries of the Kingdom. In many cases, particularly in coverages of the Arabian shield, the Saudi Map GM-map products are compilations built on field mapping programs carried out at 1:100,000 scale.
