NOTE : This is a facsimile of the 1841 memoir, produced in 1976 by the Delaware Geological Survey in commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the modern Delaware Geological Survey. The title of the facsimile is “James C. Booth and the First Delaware Geological Survey.” It includes a modern introduction by state geologist Thomas E. Pickett. It is a quite readable copy of this extremely rare and important early report and would be interesting for almost everyone. $8
