Some of it will be useful, some not - prices are low to reflect this. Includes work by Geologist Peggy Visher and Geophysicist R.J. Archer from the 1980s. It seems to be geared toward Oil and Gas exploration, apparently for ARCO Exploration company. The groups do appear to be related. A total of 5-6 inches of material. This Private Report is bound in a folder, 11x8.5”, 4 pages of text report, 5 page list of Patented Claims in Granite county, Montana held by Juanita and Parry YOB of Philipsburg, 1 page summary of data covering the week ending June 17, 1893 (workings of the mine), 1 page list of average Mill Head production just prior to 1905 shutdown. Skeleton of Leptoceratops with the description of a new species. By Barnum Brown and Erich M. Schlaikjer. 1942 American Museum of Natural History, American Museum Novitates 1169. 9x6”, offprint, 15 pages, 10 figures including some great photographs of a complete skeleton and drawings of some important bones. New species was collected from the St. Mary River formation, Blackfeet Indian reservation, Montana. (A bit rumpled with mild soil on front page). $3

Some volcanic ash beds of Montana. By Jesse Perry Rowe. 1903 University of Montana. This is University of Montana bulletin 17, also their Geological Series 1. 9x6”, 29p., plus 9 plates and a tipped in frontispiece map. Some of the plates are great photos of fossils from the ash beds. SCARCE. (Generally Good. Front cover has a mild crease and is loosening at spine. Frontispiece has come loose from the original glue. Owner's marks on cover.). $28

Southwest Montana road log. 1982 ARCO Oil and Gas Company. Around 100 pages, 11x8.5” This appears to be a private compilation of a number of different geologic field trips and road logs from different sources, with notes and additions. There is a map with the different routes and stops marked on it. Includes the following areas : Missoula, Lolo Hot springs, Clark Canyon Dam, Pioneer range, Highland Mountains, Anaconda, Boulder Batholith, Ruby range, Bridger range, Livingston, Crazy mountains, Castle mountains, White Sulphur springs, Helena and more. $15
